These pieces were inspired by garlic bulbs, which have been used throughout the world to draw out ear infection. The interior filters, while referencing the cross section of a bulb of garlic, are actually quotes from George W. Bush. The three forms say "When we talk about war what we're really talking about is peace"(June 18, 2002), "Words must be credible and no one can doubt the word of America"(January 20, 2004), and "You're either with us or against us"(November 6, 2001).
